Could I please get an authentication on this Coach purse. I have a few days to exchange it if there are any issues. I'm somewhat confident, especially because it appears to have a factory store stamp on it but I do want to be sure. TIA!

Hello Ladies (and Gents, if any!), I'm Looking to buy my first Coach and I want to get this vintage tote (I think its a Waverly?).. would appreciate it if you could authenticate it (I'm hoping that counterfeiters haven't bothered with vintage items!)

Description: NICE USED VINTAGE COACH HANDBAG. IT HAS ORGINAL HANDTAG. IT IS AUTH THE COACH CREED 3 IS H6M-4133. IT HAS BRASS FITTINGS. HAS A LARGE COMPARTMENT IN THE BACK TO STORE ITEMS IN. IT AS WELL HAS A ZIPPER AREA ON THE INSIDE AREA TO PUT ITEMS. THIS MED SIZED PURSE WILL HOLD ALL YOU NEED. IT DOES SHOW ONE LITTLE AREA ON THE LEATHER ON THE FOUTH PIC YOU CAN SEE THIS LITTLE SMALL AREA.

I've requested for photos of the creed and inside of the bag - will add those when I get them!

Comments:This bag is at my store (I work thrift) but hasn't gone out on the floor yet. I saw it in the back and kinda secretly took pics So i'm sorry if some of the pics aren't really good. I had to do it fast while nobody was around. I don't have a great feeling about this bag but maybe it's just an odd one. But as we already know some really good fakes are still great bags for quality of leather and such. One odd thing i noticed is that when i held it up and looked inside light came through all the stitching on all the seams. And the creed is very strange. I love the color though.

The bag is a counterfeit. I certainly hope the store doesn't try to sell it as it's against Federal law to do so.

The link below has a list of fake numbers and note that number is on it. Note the following information: 501-20 + all similar numbers starting with 101-, 202-, 501-, 701-, or any other group of 3 numbers with a zero in the middle, followed by 2 or 3 numbers after the dash and usually with a patch that says "made in Korea" - always counterfeit, no matter how real the leather feels.

Ty I pretty much knew it was just because of the weird number but i was kinda hoping it was some kind of fluke just because i really like the bag. It's really nice heavy leather. And yes they will sell it anyways. They put out anything that says coach on it for a marked up price because they feel like it's not their responsibility to decide it's up to the customer to take that risk. I have recently switched locations with the same company and at my other store they actually got me in trouble for telling customers which bags were fake and which were not. I was very angry at this but there isn't much i can do. My new store recently had a Foach and a girl really liked it and I did tell her it was a knock off(I told her when there were no managers around). She said yeah now that i feel the "leather" i can tell. But she still really thought it was a cute bag so she bought it anyways. It was priced 40 bucks I think. I still wasn't happy but at least she was aware that it was counterfeit. Again not much i can do without risking my job.

We'll wait until you can post a creed photo but so far it looks ok, contingent on the creed being valid.
