If it measures about 10x8, it's a Dakota Cartwright Bag style 4208 from 1992.

It measures 11" L X 7.5 H X 3" D. The strap including the brass clasps is 38" L. There is no back pocket.

I am also wondering about the seams on the bottom corners? (Last 2 pictures) I have a couple smaller zipper bags that don't have seams there but maybe this is how this bag was supposed to be?

It looks like a Convertible Clutch but I've never seen one with two seams in the bottom corners instead of a single center seam. Maybe someone else can
