Item: Monterey Zip Hobo 6146 (Turkey, 1999) Suede and Italian Bridle Leather
Seller: Savers $25

Comments: I found this bag at the thrift store yesterday and I am pretty sure that it is genuine. I found a similar bag from Coach on the wayback machine (December 2000) but not the exact same number and not in suede.

Please give an opinion about authenticity and do you know what the color is called? I've been calling it olive green and brown but I don't know the official names, thanks! This bag is very heavy, and dirty!
It's good.

6145 is the leather version and 6146 is the suede:. Hyacinth might know the official color name.

Thank you!
You're welcome.

Here's a listing where she called it "fatigue" green. Not sure if that's her perception of the color or the actual color name:

ETA: And another with the same color name:

Wow! Big price variation!

ETA again. It looks like the first buyer may not have paid. It resold again for even less!

Item: Red Bleecker Demi Turnlock 9154 (USA, 1999)
Seller: Savers $3

Comments: Please give an opinion about authenticity and let me know if this is the correct name? I found Bleecker Demi Zip bags on the Wayback machine in 2000 on-sale for $98 and I think that this is part of the same line, but I am not sure. Thanks for your help!

Hi, this was $13 at the Salvation Army store. I think it's the pocket purse style. Any chance it's genuine? The leather feels nice but it seems a little lightweight. Thanks.

It's a genuine Demi Turnlock.

It's a genuine Demi Turnlock.

Thank you!

You will be proud of me because I am learning! Yesterday at Savers I found some obvious fakes but also a nice-looking, blue drawstring bag with an outside turnlock pocket. It seemed well-made and I was excited to find it until I noticed the misspellings in the creed! :nogood:

I also picked up what looked like a genuine bag from the Neo line, but then I noticed that the creed said that it was made of "genuine glove-tanned cowhide" so I put that one back too!

Thanks for sharing your expertise!

That's where it gets tricky. I've seen what look like genuine Neos with the "leather" creeds.

First one is fake. Besides the number being on the fakes list, the font is wrong, and it sure looks like it says "This is a Coacy bag"! See that wrinkle on the back? Coach leather doesn't normally do that.

The second one is an authentic Belmont bag. It isn't a Regina.

The third one is also an authentic Belmont bag.

Thank you for catching the error on the creed! Your help is always much appreciated!
