She just added them now -- one of the back and one of the inside.
My wallet is the dark gray color and the Coach lozenge on the inside is blind embossed, not colored with silver like this one. I have other wallets that have the silver coloring. I think it is authentic but without seeing an authentic one in the same color, I can't be sure.

Authenticating older and vintage Coach bags is complicated. You should start with reading the Salearea Coach Guides posted at Ebay - the link is below, Save or Bookmark it. Following this thread and building a library of photos and text information is also necessary. Until you're experienced, it's always best to let the experienced members authenticate the all-leather classics. A lot of the fakes are spotted because of discrepancies in the creed or serial number and each situation is different. Contrary to what too many so-called authenticity guides claim, there really are no "Rules" except for the Never In Korea Rule.

1- genuine, probably early 1990s
2- looks ok, 1995
3- ok, also 1995
4- ok, from 2000

My comment is regarding aunt_pat. Her listing(s) were mentioned in the past because it appears that the seller isn't diligent in authenticating her items.

I can't comment on the court bag in question, but this current listing needs to be looked at. From what I've learned, the "E" plant code is used solely for bags made in Italy, however, there has been a flood of fakes with E codes and (supposedly) made in US.

In this fairly recent post, it was noted that aunt_pat sold a fake bag for $700. (The listing was subsequently removed and hopefully, the buyer was refunded.)

And in this more recent ebay post, it was suggested that aunt_pat do her homework before listing, advice she must not have taken seriously.

And she sold a fake Chanel bag, as (un)authenticated here:

I agree with BeenBurned about seller " aunt_pat ".. The Willis not only has an incorrect plant code but at least one of its construction details isn't right. In fact the whole front of the bag looks "off". The front flap looks like it has a slight "V" shape but it should be straight across, the turnlock isn't placed correctly, and there's at least one other problem. Here are two of Coach's website photos:

All we can do is keep reporting the verified fakes. As always, with the older styles we strongly urge everyone to check here before reporting to be sure it's fake and to learn what mistakes point to it being counterfeit.

What I find especially frustrating is that when they do find boards, whether the ebay discussion boards or TPF and they're advised that they have fakes, that they continue to neglect to verify authenticity of their items.

For example, in that post on the CAB (clothing) board, her own response in post #9 is that she DOES have her bags authenticated. I don't believe her!
