I am amazed and so jealous you found such great bargains at Goodwill. If those had been at any Goodwill I've been to, they would have been priced very high. Real leather has never passed through the doors of my local Goodwill.

thanks i got really lucky this goodwill is the outlet and the re-sellers are worse then vulture they run in as soon as the door opens and just start grabbing not giving any one else a chance .today the girl from goodwill told every one as they open don't grab if your not buying she stood back the for a few to make sure .this gave me a chance to find them as soon as she left this re seller over filled his cart by quit a bit with bags .who knows what else i could have found if he didn't .but im happy with what i have :smile1:

Hello, I purchased a bag from ebay, I believe it's from the Legacy collection. I've read quite a bit on fake vs. real creed/serial numbers, and am not sure I have a real bag. The number is L21-9813. From what I've read, the numbers and letters before the dash should begin and end with a letter, which this doesn't and I haven't seen L21 anywhere. The creed states made in China, and it has a bullet so I believe that means it was a factory number. Can you help please? Thank you!

Post pictures of your bag and the creed, and a link to the ebay listing. I don't know what guides you are reading, but that is incorrect. The last digit before the dash can be a letter or number. The bullet doesn't mean that it was made for factory; it means that it was made for boutiques but sold in a factory store.

Factory codes can be a numeric character also but we can't authenticate a serial number since the counterfeiters can and do use legitimate serial numbers on fakes.

We need to see pictures. Use the paperclip or manage attachments tools (in the reply screen) or a photo hosting site such as photobucket (post IMG links) to post pictures. See post #1 of the thread to see the pictures we need to see.

I don't have the bag so I can't authenticate. I do own the wallet in another color and it looks exactly like that, but I would need to see the inside to be sure.
