C4C-9927 is the one for the other... she gave me no trouble about it and was really nice. I know it sounds silly, but I am almost afraid to ask people... I feel like there's some kind of underground bag mob, hahah. Just shyness, really, is all it is.
Is that a legit one?

One does not have the serial number. Is it appropriate to message and ask for it? I am already doing that, but not sure what kinda response I will get; I would think they should be happy to answer that question, but who knows?

A picture of the creed is needed.

Knowing what the serial number is doesn't help to authenticate it. Counterfeiters can and do use legitimate numbers on fakes. It's the details of the creed -- font, spacing, pressure, placement, etc that prove whether a bag is authentic or not.

There's no reason to be embarrassed to request specific pictures of the details necessary to authenticate items. Experienced sellers should know what to show and if they miss a picture, they should be pleased that they have an educated buyer who knows what to ask for.

If a seller refuses to send pictures that are necessary for you to make an informed purchase, then you should hit the "back" button and spend your money elsewhere.

The first one is probably ok.

The second one is almost certainly fake, the serial number is often used in fakes, and several of the details of the bag's construction is wrong. Do NOT bid on or buy it.

1- That serial number prefix J8Y- is used on fakes more often than genuine bags, and I'm not comfortable authenticating anything with that number. I'm also not happy with the shape of the front flap, it seems like it should be just a bit straighter along the bottom edge. Compare it to Coach's photo below. I'm not saying it's fake, just that I'm not convinced it's genuine.

2- probably ok
