There's nothing wrong with it. Coach used that block-letter logo on some bags and wallets in the late 90s and early 2000s, like the ones below. Yours looks ok, in fact it's probably from the same line as the wallet I posted, style 6999, but I don't have a name for it.

I like that red!!! That grey wallet will go nicely with my grey willis! :p

Oh wow! Thank you for posting the Bellini information. I have this bag in the black and the camel. It's nice to see how much it was when it was new. And, it's nice to know the name. Mine were eBay wins for about $20.

You may have to be patient, most of us don't have experience with newer styles. BeenBurned isn't coming back and we don't have any full-time authenticator for recent Coaches.

We need a dependable experienced person here who can stop in a few times a day and who really knows what to look for in newer bags and wallets - not just "well, it looks like mine so it must be ok" experience but things like "is the Carriage logo / thread / lining the right color?" and who has photo files of many of the newer styles. I'm ok with most styles from before 2006 but my files only cover styles with 4-digit style numbers. I stopped saving photos in most cases when Coach switched to 5 digits.

If you know any really experienced sellers/buyers with good eyes and a nose for fakes who can take a few minutes a day to help out, please mention it to them. Thanks!

Thank you so much Hyacinth. I am so sorry about BeenBurned. That just hurts my heart. :hugs:

It hurts all of us, any time someone who breaks the rules, misrepresents their merchandise, sells fakes, plays games with prices and bids, and thinks theyre untouchable because they've been on tv for 15 minutes is allowed to keep doing business on Ebay while people like BB who are trying to keep buyers from getting ripped off are the ones who pay the price.

They say Karma's a b***h and I hope they're right because some people really deserve to get Karma'd to the MAX.

I have bid on this bag on ebay and since found out that letter p was not used to begin serial #'s. People address P1T as wrong. This looks like P6D-9951 only the P is taller than the rest of the number. It looks like the Patricia legacy 9951, so the number seems correct at first. The purse is old, but the current owner is not the original owner. Is it a bad factory mark or a badly faked serial number?

As I look at the picture, it also had the symbol that looks like a bulls eye or target whcih some people said was a product made to sell at the factory store instead of the Coach store. Or is it just fake?

Thank you for your help!

I am adding more pictures of this questionable bag. Below is the original text of my first post. (Sorry I could not figure out how to add attachments as part of an edit to the original post.)

It's an F, not a P. I don't see any problems. The bullseye means it was transferred from the full-price store to the outlet.
