Comments: Please help! I just purchased this Coach Ergo bag - one I have wanted for a very long time. The seller provided a good number of photos, and I was very satisfied with the seller's communication and feedback. I noticed the creed photo seemed blurry, but I thought it must be just the camera resolution, etc. I was just so eager to finally own this bag. When I received the bag, I was very confused to see that the creed is actually that faint in real life! It is completely unreadable. I can barely make out the 10744, and I cannot read any of the words on the creed! I know the seller advertised the bag as authentic and it could have been an honest mistake. Is it normal for an authentic Coach creed to wear away to the point of being unreadable? I sincerely and greatly appreciate all help as to the authenticity of this bag! Many thanks!

You'll have much better luck finding someone familiar with that exact style and the disappearing creed if you ask at the main Coach forum if anyone else who might have owned that style and style number has had the same problems. Apparently the few people who post on this thread don't know that style from personal experience.

I'm not sure if anyone can help me authenticate this or not. It's a suede shirt that I found today. It's super soft, unlined. It looks like a tag was removed on the interior side seam, but I did find the tag pictured inside one of the chest pockets. It has Jan/25/1994 on it.

I appreciate any help I can get!

It seems ok but next time please take a few more photos, we need to see the entire creed stamp, serial number and the area right around it, plus the front, back and at least one side of the bag. The Creed on yours should say that it's made in Mexico. If it does, it's probably ok.

The tags seem ok but it would help if we could actually see the shirt.

You may have to be patient, most of us don't have experience with newer styles. BeenBurned isn't coming back and we don't have any full-time authenticator for recent Coaches.

We need a dependable experienced person here who can stop in a few times a day and who really knows what to look for in newer bags and wallets - not just "well, it looks like mine so it must be ok" experience but things like "is the Carriage logo / thread / lining the right color?" and who has photo files of many of the newer styles. I'm ok with most styles from before 2006 but my files only cover styles with 4-digit style numbers. I stopped saving photos in most cases when Coach switched to 5 digits.

If you know any really experienced sellers/buyers with good eyes and a nose for fakes who can take a few minutes a day to help out, please mention it to them. Thanks!

Seeking authentication this wallet. The style of the Logo on the front compared to the inside is what is throwing me off. Opinions?

Thank you!

There's nothing wrong with it. Coach used that block-letter logo on some bags and wallets in the late 90s and early 2000s, like the ones below. Yours looks ok, in fact it's probably from the same line as the wallet I posted, style 6999, but I don't have a name for it.
