The picture makes it look as if the creed stamp might be off-center? And the H plant code has been used for at least 2 different plants but I don't have any verified information about which plants used it during certain years. All I can say about that bag is that it's probably genuine based on what I can see in the photos but I'm not 100 percent sure.

When I first picked this up, I was suspect because the leather was so stiff and dry. Didn't feel right; then the creed stamp concerned me (based on your guides). But honestly, the more I pick this up and move the leather around (taking pictures, etc), the softer it is becoming. I think I'll condition it good and see what it looks like after some TLC. It is a heavy bugger, like the old willis bags were.

The creed is on center. The pic is distorted from me trying to stretch the bag while taking the picture. Could have used an extra set of hands.

I posted this really late last night so I thought I would bump it just in case...was wondering if there were any thoughts on this bag? I only ask in case I need to pursue it with the seller. Thanks so very much for any help! :smile1:

Style 5130 is the Station Bag (Slim Pouch) and that one looks fine. Made in 1996.

You'll have much better luck finding someone familiar with that exact style and the disappearing creed if you ask at the main Coach forum if anyone else who might have owned that style and style number has had the same problems. Apparently the few people who post on this thread don't know that style from personal experience.
