Thank you so much for you help, now on to the refurbishingIt looks like a canteen bag from the early 90's. I think it might be british tan in color. If you give a bath, you will be able to reshape it.

It looks good.Hi, pls help to authenticate this bag I have won from ebay:
Item Name: COACH ASHLEY PATENT LEATHER GREEN SATCHEL PURSE
Seller: spacelady131
Item ID: 300882933607
Link: http://www.ebay.com.sg/itm/30088293...WNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649#ht_500wt_975
Comments: The Date Code / Style No. printed on Coach Creed : Is that a unique number allocated for each individual bag or each design. Does E1269 mean date of production was on May 2012 ? What does 69 stand for ?
TIA !
Yes, 69 represents a factory in China.Thank you for your swift reply. Does 69 means the factory is in China. Have a great weekend !
The target-like stamp means it was sold in an outlet store. Looks authentic to me.Hi everyone! Last week, Hyacinth authenticated a bag for me,here is the link to it:http://forum.purseblog.com/coach-shopping/authenticate-this-coach-763164-298.html#post24164973 Well, it arrived today and is quite beautiful. I read that some Sheridans didn't have serial #'s and this one doesn't but it does have a creed (with 2 bullet holes if that means anything)....pictures below...if you don't mind indulging this newbie, just wanted reassurance that it is authentic even without a serial#....as always thank you for your time and expertise all!

The red one in the pics is a treasure. Its an original Rambler Bag. wish I knew the style number. I sold my Mahogany one that I bought in a Coach Store. It was discontinued just before the Rambler Legacy came out. Want it backLooks fine to me. I have one. Looks the same. Correct Style number.![]()
I have found that it isn't worth it to argue with a seller about authenticity unless you have already bought it. You can get in trouble with ebay for harassing the seller. Just report it and let ebay take care of it.Seller: Hammybird
Ebay item No. 330891568015
style number shown is 9946, not 9966. I think the hardware (ring on zipper pull) is incorrec. Buckle is stamped SOLID BRASS.
I contacted seller. She insists that it is authentic, did her research, contacted Coach. ITem was a gift.
I suggested that she search listings for Coach 9966 and Coach 9946. She insulted me.
I am trying to help her. Sent her currrent Coach web URL for Legacy zip showing 9966 on bag.
It's authentic.Thanks! For $4.99 I'll take my chances.![]()
