I'm not completely comfortable with this one, both because of the strap grommets and the R plant code. I can't find any other Rs in my file from 2003 although that doesn't prove it's fake, just unproven.

And a BIG Thanks to Whateve for the hint about the "Theme Switcher" - I couldn't handle looking at the page for more than 15 seconds!
Interesting.......I too had a black stewardess which could have passed for your twin. It too had silver grommets (however the interior of the grommet looked like it could have been brass or brass-toned at one time). The leather is gorgeous., of very high quality and the bag well made. The interior is identical to yours. White at the edges where the dye didn't take and no bottom leather cover at the base of the bag. The red flag for Hyacinth on my bag was the location of the creed patch which was 2" below the zipper. She indicated it should have been much higher. Double check the distance from your creed patch to the zipper.

I've asked the seller to post more pictures of the actual purse but my gut tells me this might not be a real coach.

Thanks

I'm not sure how many of these pictures belong to the seller. A lot of them look like stock photos from various sources. The style is an authentic style but I can't recommend the listing without knowing if any of the pictures are of the actual bag and without seeing the creed.
My opinion of laskates listing is even stronger! I DO NOT RECOMMEND this seller! laskates doesn't use her own pictures so there's no telling what you'll receive.

Pictures are stolen from here:

Hi everyone! I just won an auction and I hope one of you could authenticate these 4 bags before I pay? I emailed the seller and the last bag (the black one) has the style #9135 which I believe is the Small Hippie Flap? she can't read the 1st part of the serial# b/c it is so faded. I believe #! is the red Equestrian Slim Bucket? I don't know what #2 is and I believe #3 may be the Companion Flap Crossbody? I know there are not a lot of pics but any info you can give me is appreciated. Thanks as always!

Thank you, Hyacinth. The lady told me that they were her mother's who recently passed away. :( I told her that if I won the bid, I would wash and condition them and respect them. :smile1:

Hi Ladies -

I have a "first" today. I got an email from eBay saying "Security Notice: eBay listing removed." The listing was for a Legacy West Shoulder Bag that I bought a little while back. When I received the bag, I went over it carefully and there were no details that raised a red flag so I moved on. Given the notice from eBay, thought it best to run it by you guys since I am still within my 45 day Buyer Protection period.

It is red with brown jacquard lining with the Coach lozenge. I've posted photos here:

Please let me know if you have any concerns or need more photos. (I took the photos in a hurry so they could be better.) Thanks so much!

P.S. OMG! MY EYES!!!! (Thanks Whateve for the Theme Switcher, I was getting queasy.)
I had this happen to me with an authentic bag I bought. It turned out that one of the seller's other listings had been reported, and since it was a new seller, they removed all his listings.

Listings can also be removed when the seller has an outstanding bill, an expired credit card (so fees can't be billed) and other reasons.

If the takedown notice didn't refer to an implication of trademark violation, chances are that it wasn't removed as fake.
