We don't recommend this seller. Her items can't be authenticated because the creeds don't contain the correct style numbers. They could be samples but she certainly has a lot of them. There is no way to tell if they are authentic.

My opinion is that they're not samples at all. I don't believe that Coach makes any of the items randiesstuff sells.

I agrre. This seller has been discussed many times, and her claims that some of her items are "samples" can't be proven since she won't supply receipts and Coach always gives receipts AND collects state sales taxes at their sample sales. The problems with her creeds and serial numbers are the same as in a lot of Triple-A fakes we've looked at that are coming through the Philippines.

Search tPF for the seller's name - here's a link to the start of the most recent discussion that covers a two-day period,and our opinions of the seller. If you're the buyer of that bag I doubt very much if it was made by Coach - try asking her for a copy of the receipt before you pay.

Comments: I spotted this white willis on craigslist and it looks pretty good to me although the vendor says it is not genuine. I asked her to send pics of the creed and she sent these terrible pics and said they were the best she could get.

I can see that they have xxxx-xxx serial number configuration and I noticed some rather odd spacing in the wording - but I think I've seen that before? (But maybe I saw it on a fake?!)

The funny thing is that this bag is from the same CL vendor that sold the red Madison Bristol Dome bag to me recently. She also said that one was not genuine but it was authentic! I am tempted to go and check this one out but first I wanted to ask your opinion, whether I should even bother to go look at it? Also, do you know if the willis actually ever came in white? Thanks for your help!

It's fake. The serial number, 0974-534 is on Hyacinth's list - scroll about 1/2 way down the post:

I just bought this Coach Madison off Ebay from the same seller at $278, I am not a coach expert by any means but it just feels 'off' to me. Of course, says made in China but the quality feel's strangely off and it is A LOT smaller then I expected it to be. The smaller handles woud not fit on your shoulder, only a wrist. This maybe my fault for not checking it out closer.
