You're welcome. I forgot to answer the other part of your question. Generally, on the older bags you will find more black than any other color, both because they probably made a lot of them and because the black tends to survive better than lighter colors. The lighter colors were much more likely to get stained and end up in the trash. The navy that they made on the oldest bags was so dark that you often can't tell it from black without having them side by side.Thank you for the quick response! Really appreciate it!

Style 9981 is the Watson, 9031 is a Wendie Zip, 9978 is a Small Sidepack. They all look ok
I need more photos and measurements of the first one3 to identify it - the back, and the side to show how the strap is attached. It looks genuine.

I'll respond anyway. It's authentic and the tag is correct for the case, style 8017. It's probably from over 10 years ago when we had the big fat Nokia cell phones with an antenna.Never mind, ladies. I had to go back to Savers anyway and decided to return it. I discovered an "E" someone wrote with a sharpie under the strap....
ETA: At $8.99, it wasn't a bargain, IMO. No one has those phones any more an if you were selling, it would take a long time.
I have the leather version of this bag. Yours looks authentic. The brass was antiqued to begin with so it wasn't super shiny. Mine has had some discoloration but I was able to shine it back up. I think that is how you know it is real brass plating.
