New with tags should mean there are no flaws. If there are flaws, the seller needs to disclose this. Re-ticketed can mean a customer return or just that the tag was lost in the store and they created a new one. I would ask the seller if there are any flaws and mention the spots you are worried about. It sounds like the seller is cooperative. Whenever you buy something without being able to inspect it in person, there is always the risk that there will be scratches or marks. This could happen even if you had ordered it directly from Coach.

But more important, through a series of random coincidences I happened to be browsing the forum just as you posted Macy's sale on this bag last night in Cognac and I got it before they sold out, so double thank you on my first Coach bag.

I have not visited this forum in a very long time, but I'm hoping you can help me. I bought two bags described as vintage coach court 9870, and I'm hoping you can authenticate them for me? They just arrived in Ireland on friday and I collected them from the post office on Saturday.

I realise I paid over the odds for vintage coach bags, so I want to be sure I haven't bought fakes.

Both of the Court Bags seem genuine. But in future, it's a good idea to have any Coach bags from that seller authenticated here before you bid or buy, since they have listed several possible fakes with invalid serial numbers in the past and aren't as careful in making sure their items are authentic as they should be. Here's one of the posts (the serial numbers in the ones you bought appear to be valid)

The bag seems genuine although a readable photo of the creed always helps.

I've never seen those colors or that style of Star Keychain before, and am 99 percent sure it's fake but please wait for more opinions. The Breast Cancer Research keychain looks ok but again, wait for more opinions. (It's missing the small metal hangtag.)

Thank you Hyacinth, That is exacty why I asked! I did a quick search of this thread and noticed that the seller had previously sold fakes, so I got worried. I have compared both bags to my new coach penny bag and the quality seems similar, in fact the leather on the older bags seems thicker and softer, but I wanted to be sure! Thanks Again.

The bag is fine.

The breast cancer awareness fob looks good (style 92030) but as pointed out, it's missing the lozenge

The stars keychain is a fake copy of 92047.

Hi there,

In the first link that was authenticated, I asked the seller for some additional information on the bag, such as if there were any scratches/scuffing on the piping, and other imperfections to note. The seller responded to me by saying that the item is already boxed up, but remembered the condition as stated in the auction. Should I feel comfortable going forward based on the pictures provided alone? If someone could please offer me some advice.
