It's authentic and that's the correct style number.

I'd like to see the listing and more clear pictures of the bag. I have/had that bag in a different color and in comparison, the studs look more rounded (on yours) than they seem to be on mine and the distance apart appears off. And although both of our bags were made in the same year and same plant, (different months), the font on your creed appears to be slightly thicker. It could be the angle though.

I have concerns about your bag. (My bag came from Macy's.)

Thank you so much BeenBurned. You and Hyacinth are such a big help. It wasn't a listing like on eBay just a classified ad that's no longer up. I did go through PayPal & used my cc so I do have recourse in case it's not real.

I'm hoping these pics will give a better idea of the bag itself. This is how it came to me with two tags attached. One tag appears authentic, the other not.

Wow! I just can't be sure. There should also have been a third larger leather hangtag.

Does your bag have the horizontal tacking stitches across the bottom as shown in the comps here? I can't tell from your picture. Also, the studs on your bag appear larger but it could just be the way the picture was taken.

Here's a listing for the same bag, same colors and with really clear pictures. Try comparing texture, horse and carriage plaque, hardware and the size/gauge/thickness of o-rings and d-rings. (BTW, what is the white mark under the "C" on the front logo? Is that a permanent (i.e. manufacturing) flaw?)

It looks like a genuine Mini Zip. The outlet stamp is strange but maybe it was just a defective stamp. I've never seen the stamping tool and don't know it's made or how it works but it's possible.

The top one is a genuine Equestrian Slim Bucket. The color might be Toffee or could be British Tan.

The colors might be the same but you can NEVER depend on the colors shown on the screen, even Coach's catalogs often don't display the colors the way the human eye sees them.

Check the Salearea Guide on Serial Numbers. It says:
"In late 2006 they finally came to their senses and began using 5-digit all-number style numbers. So now not only is the style number longer, but remember that the year code now also has 2 numbers as of 2004, meaning the minimum number of digits in a serial number has gone up to Nine..."

The five-digit style numbers didn't come into regular use until 2006 so the serial numbers could have had 7 or 8 digits in 2004 or even 2005 since the style numbers in those years could be either 3 or 4 digits.
