One more for me.
Item Name (if you know it): Not sure.
Link (if available): It's on a closed facebook group.

It really bothers me that there is no serial on it, but it is a smaller bag. My daisy crossover doesn't even have a creed in it, so I know sometimes they don't! Here is what she gave me when I asked specifics: " There is not a number that I seen on the inside label and the inside of bag pic. Measures 9 1/2 inches across and 6 1/2 wide (top to bottom ) Thanks"

This is the small Carly. Some of them had a style number on the creed and others didn't. It looks fine to me. The style number is 40347, I think.

1- actually the late 1990s replacement for the Basic Bag, called the Mitchell Zip. Looks ok.

2- Nothing in my files for that style but I don't see any problems

3- ok

4- there's one red flag on the Maggie Duffle and a few small things like the leather tab on the zipper pull. Sorry but I can't discuss what the red flag is since I don't want to tell the crooks that also read this forum how to make their fakes more accurate. But that combined with a J8Y- prefix makes me think it's probably counterfeit.

Possible to have a Z plant code for US bag?

Hi all -

This is my first post here (but won't be my last), I've been learning a lot from following the threads. I have been accumulating a number of older Coach bags with the intent to clean them up and resell them.

I have a Legacy Zip with #L6Z-9966 under a United States creed. I just realized tonight that all of the other bags I have with the Z plant code state that they were made in the Dominican Republic (they have whacky Z's on them, which is another post). I compared the L6Z bag with another Legacy Zip with # F0D-9966 and they are identical as far as i can tell except for the main zipper pull - the L6Z bag pull is narrower where is connects the zipper.

I have posted photos here - showing the bag, the buckles, the YKK zippers, etc. (The bag does have brass hardware but the strap has silver grommets - I assume it is a replacement strap.) Any input you can provide would be most appreciated.
