Please wait for other opinions because this isn't generally my area of expertise. I'm responding mainly because if you're interested in #1, it ends soon and I wanted to get my comments in there.

1. Knowing a serial number and having it "match" the bag isn't enough to prove authenticity. Fakes can have valid serial numbers and even serial numbers that seem "correct" for the style of bag. If you have time and if the seller will send a picture, perhaps you can post the creed and get the green light in time.

2. Wait for other opinions.

3. boatman-usa's listing is fake. Please report the bag with the always-fake and always invalid serial number, 0974-534

4. Wait for other opinions.
#1 matches the creed I included in my last post - sorry about the confusion. Here is the creed that matches the listing: http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTIwMFgxNj...1Vuw~~60_4.JPG

I can't answer your question about the zipper but I don't see anything wrong with the bag.

Thank you. I meant to ask whether the zipper pull (not zipper) should have that contrast stitching, but maybe that's on the later Bleeckers. Glad to know the bag looks OK. I was thrown by the indentations surrounding the style number but by looking at lots of pictures on TPF I see that the embossing can look like that.

Hi, please take a look at this:

Item:Coach Court
Listing number:300865593759
Seller:misswinkerman

Thank you!

I'm really confused. That picture under the flap isn't the same bag. 2nd row, 2nd picture.
Is it possible she accidently posted a picture from her other Coach listing?

Would appreciate your input on these two bags, different sellers:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/140919939402?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649
Seller: billybblue (I have seen this seller referenced here before - he seems to have several bags in the ~20 year range.)
Item: 140919939402

Seller: islandebuy
Item: 190803175965

On the second, I have asked for a close-up of the creed patch. I found 1 other bag on eBay with this look and it was Made in NYC with a creed patch number that was three digits, hyphen, four digits. I didn't know Coach made clutches back then.

Thank you.

1. This one matches the creed

And before I pull the trigger on any of these, could you please let me know if they check out?

ETA: I am not comfortable with boatman-usa's listings. Other listings appear to have a photoshopped serial number, making it impossible to read, however, the style number portion of the s/n is not 9927 in this listing:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Coa...470?pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item4ac193a84e

Other listings appear that the seller purposely (???) made it impossible to authenticate because of the carpy pics.

BeenBurned is completely right about point #1 - Don't EVER asume something's genuine because the bag has the right style number! All you need to do is read some of the other authentications posted here such as this one
http://forum.purseblog.com/coach-shopping/authenticate-this-coach-763164-446.html#post24076623
to see that having the right style number doesn't prove diddly-squat. Do-it-yourself authentications will end up burning you.

Without a READABLE PHOTO of the actual creed there's no way I'd ever buy or recommend buying a bag especially such a highly-faked style, and no way I'd give an authentication.

2- Probably ok

3- Already removed by Ebay

BB, I Agree- I wouldn't buy any Coach item from seller BOATMAN-USA . Poor, modified or NO creed photos, a fake Station Bag sold just a few hours ago, a black "Willis" with the wrong style number or as BB said a Photoshopped creed or a photo from a completely different bag with a style number starting in -98, misuse of Bonnie Cashin's name in a listing for a bag made 15 years AFTER she left Coach as well as for one of the Station Bags, etc.

Someone who's a new seller needs to have their items authenticated before listing or their Ebay career is going to be really short. In fact the black "Willis" that was completed today
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Coa...D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
looks like the same bag and the same wonky creed stamp as the one they sold on Jan31st and got a Neutral FB for on Feb 4th.

and no disclosure of the damage to the strap that the earlier buyer mentioned - "Bag not Excellent as described.Strap has uneven holes added, top handle crooked". Damaged and possiby fake bag and a seller who doesn't give a fat rat's patoot.

4- Probably ok

Did you buy the bag? If you did I'd suggest asking the seller to clarify where the bag was actually made. Sellers sometimes make mistakes. If the creed is different from the photos when you receive it then you'll need to post photos here of what you actually received.
Thanks Hyacinth! I did end up purchasing the bag, but I will definitely post up pictures if the bag arrives different. In the event that the bag is made in the U.S., does the product still appear to be authentic?

Both look ok - late 80s or early 90s Companion Bag style 9300, the clutch is also genuine but I don't have any details on it.

ETA - They were making clutches and wallets long before they were making handbags.
