Item: Coach Black Leather Station Manor Messenger Flap Cross Body
Listing number: 261172309590
Seller: luck.runs.out

Could someone please authenticate this for me? I'm not sure if the creed stamp checks out.

Thanks a lot!

The details look right for a court bag but I don't know if they made this style in Italy in the early 90's. The seller put every style name in her title except the correct one! Wait for Hyacinth or Demram.

I have this listed for sale and got a nasty gram from someone claiming to work for Coach saying it is a fake because it was made in Vietnam, and they don't make purses in Vietnam. I have researched and Coach has manufactured there, at least in the past. Could you please authenticate this for me?

The bag shown on the CL listing is authentic.

And if someone from Coach is trolling Craigslist to notify sellers they have fakes, they should go after the obvious ones -- like this:

Respond to that idjit with the above link.

Yes, Coach has made purses in Vietnam. Yours is authentic. Refer that person to this guide. http://reviews.ebay.com/Coach-Authenticity-Guides-Facts-and-Myths?ugid=10000000062607882

We still need to be able to read the creed. The only thing I see that bothers me a bit is that it seems to be stamped off-center on the pocket, but with a new style bag that may not mean much. Maybe when you receive it you can get a better photo of the entire creed and serial number?
Thanks in advance! Below is 2 pics of the creed - the bag arrived today. Hyacinth asked for pics of the creed-hopefully, it looks good before I get working on the bag!

It looks good, the off-center stamping must have been from how the other photos were taken. I don't see any problems. :smile1:

Whoever sent you the message is a moron and the closest they could ever come to working for Coach is mopping up the rest rooms after the store or office closes. Coach has been making bags in Vietnam for at least two years now.
