1. Looks good. A City Bag from the late 1980's or early 1990's.

2. It looks good to me. It's actually a Rambler's Legacy and it was made in 1998, so not exactly vintage.

Yes, both of these are real Coach bags and quite nice for vintage purses!

ALL NEW AND RECENTLY REGISTERED FORUM MEMBERS, PLEASE READ

We want to welcome all the new posters to the forum. But we also want to remind everyone that authenticating is a very exacting procedure and involves more than just recognising that a bag being asked about looks like one someone owns or has seen somewhere.

We ask that ONLY experienced Coach collectors and sellers who have been members of the forum for a while and whose opinions are trusted from experience by other sellers give opinions about authenticity.

Anyone who has recently joined should go back back to previous postings in the Closed Authenticate This Coach thread and read some of the factors that are examined when we authenticate Coach items. Please, if you're not able to give that kind of analysis and be 100 percent sure that it's accurate, it's probably better if you leave the authenticating to the experts who know what details to look for.

We also suggest that posters NOT base buying decisions on comments by new members - there can be a considerable amount of money involved and we don't want someone to buy a bag based on what they heard was a trusted site for authentication only to find out that the advice they received was from someone with no experience authenticating and whose advice turned out to be wrong. Please disregard any posted opinions except the ones from EXPERIENCED members. Check the number of posts shown under their name and click on their ID to find out when they registered here.

Sorry to come across as an untrusting jerk, but better that than have someone make a mistake because of opinions that probably shouldn't have been given. We appreciate anyone who's trying to help, but bad advice based on inexperience can do much more harm than good

If any new members here are QUALIFIED authenticators with verifiable experience at other sites, please contact me by Personal Message and tell me who you are especially regarding your IDs at other sites, and what your experience and qualifications are.

I know the creed is not clear..... I just emailed the seller for a clearer picture of just the creed.

Thanks once again!

Here are a couple pictures she sent of the creed.

This is a Legacy bag, not sure of year but I think late 80's or so.

This is NOT a Legacy bag - please read post 58. And it's not from the 80s either, read Post 18

Comments: A new member posted this in the Hall of Shame and then there were comments that said don't report it because it was one of the new line. After it didn't sell, I contacted the seller and he relisted it as a BIN, which I jumped on. Now I am very worried. The creed number really looks like it says 19002, which is a glam.
