Is it possible to get a clearer picture of the creed? It's difficult to read the serial number and it's very unusual to see "I" for the first letter (month code).

A picture of the back of the bag would help too.

It seems to be okay although other opinions are welcome.

Ok this is hopefully a better pic of the creed...I am unsure because she keeps telling me it's real.. This is as good as she can send me... She says the back of the purse looks exactly the same as the front....

It is true that Coach won't authenticate items.

Not only are Coach employees not supposed to authenticate items, they're also not trained to.

Can you post what letters and numbers are actually in that serial number? We're seeing it from only one angle and sometimes a number can look completely different if you just change the angle of the lighting. If you can take 2 or 3 pics from different angles or change the angle of the light - natural light is always best - it might help.

Thye first letter might be a J, I've seen the bottom part cut off like that before But the second and third numbers just aren't readable.

And if there are any metal parts like rings or zippers stamped Coach please post those too, and any inside fabric tags that might say "Made in ..." wherever.

EDITED TO ADD - There's a 12317 listed here but I can't read the serial number, it almost looks like the style number is all zeros:

And other pics are on Google but nothing shows that any of them are genuine. AS I think was already mentioned, many are from known fakes-selling sites.

There was only one mention of the style here and that one couldn't be figured out either, and the pictures are long gone

Yep, genuine. And what's nice with that style is that you can use it with either color keychain. I use mine with a ball chain just like that one so I can match the chain color to the bag hardware.
