Just found this poor gal at a thrift store for a dollar. Shes extremely dehydrated and in need of a lot of love....
The creed is a little differently stamped than what im used to seeing?

The leather feels a little stiff but it may just be thats dried, the brass feels/looks right...,
Measurements approx i would say 12/13 inches wide

That N in the month code is a big no no, not to mention that the style number doesn't match the style. This style is often faked.

Hi everyone, I was wondering if I could get some help with this Coach Ashley Satchel. Something about it just doesn't feel right, particularly the stitching and feel of the leather. Thanks in advance!
Not an authenticator but my daughter has the same bag she bought directly from the FOS. The details are the same, I agree the quality of the leather isn't what I would expect. She loves it though and its very cute when she carries it

That worries me. It isn't authentic if the first digit isn't a letter between A and M.
I agree, it's definitely fake. The entire formatting and fonts used in the creed and serial number are wrong, and the serial prefix isn't valid as well as the style number being wrong. Style 9920 belongs to a Becket Zip, picture below, NOT a Taft Bag which is what that fake is trying to copy. I'm glad you didn't pay too much for it. Please discard it and preferably slash it with a box cutter or scissors if you throw it in the trash.

I don't see any problem with the details. And as I've been saying for years, not all bags have YKK zippers. Coach has used IDEAL zippers on quite a few of it's newer bags.

It looks like an S to me too, in which case it's almost sure to be counterfeit. Please take as good a photo of the creed stamp and serial number as you can once you get it, and refer back to your original post number 4277 when you post the photos:
