Fake.
J8Y- is a frequently used fake prefix although it might VERY rarely show up in genuine bags but not with a thick font like this. Style 9929 which this seller is making such a point about being stamped in the bag actually belongs to a completely different style called a Sling which is 10x14 inches & has a drawstring top and a round base.

THIS is what a genuine style 9929 looks like from Coach's Holiday 1993 catalog- that style number is showing up in a number of different fakes, all using questionable or outright fake prefixes, including :
J8Y-9929
J8H-9929
DJC-9929
and others. They're ALL fake, no exceptions.

Please refer your seller to this post. It seems she's making quite a name for herself, here and at other sites. Too bad so many of those bags she tries to sell aren't actually made by the same companies whose names are on the labels:
