Hi Experts & Authenticators.
I have my eye on a Stewardess bag from 1999 (style 9525). I hesitate as this particular bag (C9B-9525) has an exterior rear pocket extending side to side. The other stewardess bags I own (one NYC and one Costa Rica) do not have a rear pocket.
To the best of your knowledge was style 9525 ever produced with a rear pocket?
Yes I was. At first glance it appeared to be the rear. Thanks for your help. Much appreciated. We need to see the bag to make any informed decision.
Are you speaking of the navy blue Stewardess that is currently listed on ebay with this information on the creed: C9B-9525?
If so, the slip pocket on that one is in the front - not the back.
Oops, sorry! About 7 x 7.
I don't see any problems with it. I think it is called a Mia convertible shoulder bag.
Thank you!Originally Posted by Hyacinth

I think it's a Chrystie Bag, style 9892. Probably made some time around 1991-92.

Yes, I am talking about that very listing. Taking a 2nd look; you are absolutely correct. That pocket is on the back... Otherwise, the flap showing should be the suede side of the front leather flap.If you are talking about this listing: http://www.ebay.com/itm/320990702790?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1426.l2649
the seller claims there is a pocket on the back.
The question should be - did they make a stewardess with a back pocket in 1999?Yes, I am talking about that very listing. Taking a 2nd look; you are absolutely correct. That pocket is on the back... Otherwise, the flap showing should be the suede side of the front leather flap.
So my original question stands. Did Coach ever make a stewardess bag with a rear flap? Otherwise, do we have a counterfeit?

Item: Coach Hamilton Carryall (?)
Seller: Savers
Thanks in advance!!!
I have not followed the changes or lack of changes in the Stewardess bag since 1977.
The one in question appears to be an authentic Stewardess Bag from 1999.
My comments are my personal opinion and many years of buying Coach.
