I worked for Coach, and this bag looks authentic to me!

Oh FOR PETE'S SAKE, NOT AGAIN!!

Once again I'm going to repeat what I said about the "other" poster (or maybe the same poster who's trying the same thing with a new ID):

Unfortunately it's been my experience that almost every single new poster here who claimed they "could spot a fake a mile away" wouldn't actually recognize one if it flew up their nose dragging a neon sign flashing "FAKE!" every second.

WE DON'T RECOMMEND THAT NEW POSTERS TRY TO AUTHENTICATE UNTIL THEY GAIN EXPERIENCE AND EARN THE RESPECT AND CONFIDENCE OF FORUM MEMBERS, AND THAT POSTERS ASKING FOR AUTHENTICATION PLEASE DO NOT ACCEPT THE OPINIONS OF SOMEONE WHO HAS NO TRACK RECORD WITH THIS OR ANY OTHER FORUM OR AUTHENTICATION SERVICE.

No one who has been a forum member for less than three months or has a minimum of at least 20 USEFUL and FACTUALLY CORRECT POSTS SHOULD EVER BE CONSIDERED A VALID AUTHENTICATOR HERE.

ANYONE WHO THINKS THEY DESERVE AN EXCEPTION HAS TO CONTACT ME DIRECTLY.

AND "WORKING FOR COACH ONCE" DOESN'T MAKE ANYONE AN EXPERT!

Hi ladies, I recently joined a fb group that allows people to buy/sell Coach bags. The problems are really showing as there are those who are claiming they can "spot a fake" a mile away to others who are giving misled advice as to how they are certain someone else's bag is a fake or not. I've posted that those who are not sure of their bag come over here to have it authenticated but so far admin has removed my comments. I messaged the group admin and suggested she come over here and see what you do. I hope this is ok. Of course there are those who "worked for Coach" so they know here too! . . . Eye roll!!!

Anyone's welcome to have something authenticated as long as they follow the forum rules, DON'T try to block the authenticators from seeing their listings, and don't abuse the privilege by asking for too many authentications in one post or by asking for too many overall.

However, they also need to be careful of the "instant experts" with no authentication or posting history, like the ones who "worked for Coach once" or who can "spot a fake a mile away", like you mentioned. So if the Admin stops by and wants to know why I'm posting nasty comments about those instant experts, tell her to contact me for an explanation, or just read my comments.

Hello
Recently picked up this bag at a resale and am wondering about
it's authenticity. The model number on the creed 9718.
I had a hard time taking a picture of the creed, I hope
it's readable. Does the K1D indicate it was made in Oct 1991?
Does anyone know what the style name is?

Thanks for your help

It's genuine and was called a Legacy Crescent Bag. It was made in 2001.

Thanks Hyacinth. I will tell her, :-)

Item: Large Red Legacy West Backpack 9827 (China 2003)
Seller: Savers $7
Comments: This was priced so cheaply ($10 minus a coupon) that I wondered if it was fake but it looks and feels right and I couldn't find the number on "the Bible" (i.e., Hyacinth's list of fakes!) so I bought it. Please give an opinion about authenticity, thank you.

Seller: Savers $7
Comments: I really lucked out tonight! I wondered if the Coach items had been mismarked but I didn't ask any questions! Please give an opinion on authenticity and I'd appreciate any information you have about this wristlet. I have seen it called "Juniper" is that the style name? Thanks so much!
