Hi ladies, I recently joined a fb group that allows people to buy/sell Coach bags. The problems are really showing as there are those who are claiming they can "spot a fake" a mile away to others who are giving misled advice as to how they are certain someone else's bag is a fake or not. I've posted that those who are not sure of their bag come over here to have it authenticated but so far admin has removed my comments. I messaged the group admin and suggested she come over here and see what you do. I hope this is ok. Of course there are those who "worked for Coach" so they know here too! . . . Eye roll!!!

The bag is an authentic Watermelon Tote and is probably from the later 1970's judging by the "mark".
I would call it burnt orange, but colors show up differently on different monitors.

I own one of those and I have an email from the Cashin Foundation that states Bonnie Cashin did NOT design that bag. It's a Watermelon Tote from probably the later 1970's.
It looks to me like it's missing the leather tab on the zipper pull or can I just not see it?

Yes, it's an authentic Coach Watermelon Tote. You can see the small "Coach" stamp on the photo with the inner pocket pulled out.
