I have a "twin" Oliver in my collection from the same time period. The back of the inside pocket looks similar to your photo. Suede, although much lighter color and a rougher texture than the rest of the inside of the bag. Hope this helps.

Mine kind of feels like a scratchy fabric, not really leather, which is what made me think it had some kind of repair. Thank you for the feedback, it's good to know they have a different kind of pocket back in general. I wore this bag out today even though she is pre-rehab and really like the style. It fits a lot, but the east-west orientation makes it easy to find things :smile1:

Comments: I found this purse today at the Senior Center Thrift store for $5! Yeah, finally a thrift store that doesn't slap $40 on every purse that says Coach. The only style reference I found was someone's online listing and they called it the Chelsea Satchel. If you have any information on the style name I would appreciate it. My only question is that I didn't think Nubuc was spelled correctly. Thanks!
