Where would I find a clearer picture of this bag if it's an original? The seller says the style/serial # is 552-1728.

There's no way I can even identify it and the serial number doesn't include the style number. It resembles a Shoulder Sac but the rivets where the buckles are attached just don't look right. I'm not even sure the bag is genuine although it's possible the rivet arrangement may have changed over time.

They all look good to me. I'm pretty sure the 'P' means it's a pilot bag.

I have a "twin" Oliver in my collection from the same time period. The back of the inside pocket looks similar to your photo. Suede, although much lighter color and a rougher texture than the rest of the inside of the bag. Hope this helps.

That's the number that particular bag has in the series, NOT the style number. The serial number doesn't have a month code but I've never seen an LE with a metal plaque, maybe they're numbered differently due to space, or just because the Italian plant always did things their own way.

The seller has sold some apparent fakes according to other boards here at tPF so I'd recommend caution, but the bag is probably genuine.
