Hyacinth sweetie, you are working OT on this thread since Bb and the EDropoff drama. I just want to tell you we love and appreciate your time. Hopefully things will get resolved in her favor and BB will be back where she belongs.

Thanks, I hope so too!

Meanwhile, if any experienced Coachies familiar with recent styles from the last 5 or 6 years want to stop in and help with authentications, please do. But they need to be familiar with spotting fakes and have a good photo record file of genuine items for comparison. Newer styles are NOT my forte and I don't have anything close to the volume of notes and photos on newer styles as I have on classic and vintage Coach.

Wow. With that seller's Feedback record, why would anyone even buy from them? And any time a seller keeps hitting you over the head with the word "authentic" it's about a 50-50 chance that their junk is fake.

DO NOT BUY FROM SELLER nmitura5911

The bag in all the listing photos is fake. Several of the patches are wrong, like the Sig C patch at the bottom just to the right of center, the solid dark tan near the center to the left, the bottom left corner, the top purple patch doesn't have a Coach logo, etc, and most of the others are the wrong shape or texture. The "leather straps are a bit too wide and so are the grommets for the buckle holes and there should be FOUR buckle holes in each strap, not three. If you look at Coach's photo you can just see the top of the fourth grommet right above the "keeper". The stitching right at the top of the strap extensions that go down the bag is wrong, the buckles are the wrong design and the wrong shape - there's more but that should be enough to file a report. Here's Coach's photo, style 10437:

Thank you!!

It's hard to say, the seller may have even removed it for some reason. I don't like to think that someone reported it just because it couldn't be positively authenticated, there's a big difference between "I don't know" and "fake". There are hundreds of different styles that even the experienced posters here have never seen before.

And except for the screamingly obvious fakes that we've seen and reported a hundred times but still see in our nightmares, nothing should ever be reported without one of the experts verifying that it's fake.

I don't think anyone reported it, it looked like the seller removed it as it didn't come up the same way as when eBay removes an item. I think the link just said "no longer available" or something like that.

The seller said she was unsure about it being real. She said it came with a "Coach Certificate"(?) inside but no "Patch." She also said it was her daughters. I suspect she pulled the auction to re-evaluate since her bin price was fairly low and may have been a steal if the wristlet were in fact real. On the other hand and since she's sold several Coach bags in the past, she may have been concerned that someone would nail her if it turned out to be fake.

Interestingly though, I did come across one that looked very much like it but had a thin removable strap with it where the one I inquired about didn't. Maybe the seller will re-list it so we can take a better look? =]

It looks real to me.

For any future authentications, please post the photos of the creed stamp and serial number right at the start, that's probably the most important thing we need to see. You'll save yourself some time that way.

I'm hoping this one is real. If it is, I got a great deal at a resale shop! The leather is very nice, heavy but supple and the hardware all seems right. What concerns me is there is no hyphen in the number. Is this something that happens? I've seen it once or twice in pictures, but I'm not sure if that means it's a fake. Thanks in advance for any help!

It looks fine. And yes, sometimes hyphens go missing. Patricia's Legacy 2003
