Thanks for your replies, BeenBurned and Hyacinth.

I thought that the keychain was authentic because I saw this other listing on eBay, although it's very possible that they're both fake.

There are some fobs and charms where the fakes are "better" than others and sometimes, it can take a side-by-side comparison to see the differences.

The pic on the left is the fake on stefcmin98's bag. Compare to the authentic one of the right. Compare fonts, color, hardware.....

Regarding the following:

The two are completely different. The one listed by lovec888 is absolutely genuine.

I suggest you save copies of her photos for reference. And keep in mind that looking almost like a real one isn't enough, it has to be exactly alike. Compare the details!

Did you ask the seller of the first one if there were any numbers below the creed that weren't showing in the photo? I think you should. And BTW, some very early Coaches didn't have serial numbers at all.

The second one looks ok.

Hi ladies, to re-post my query:
Item: beige satchel style
Listing number:
Seller: pineeyelo
Link: http://www.etsy.com/listing/99385725/tan-leather-coach-bag
Comments: I did ask for photos of the serial number/creed patch/whole pocket area, she replied " The serial number is terribly faded to show in photos, however the number is 161-2648. " I am skeptical because the creed is VERY clear, at least in the listing photos. How can the serial number faded/rubbed so badly, but the creed be so clear? I know it's an older bag, but, well... maybe I just read this forum too much and am just skeptical!!!!
Well, what say you ladies??
thanks, night!

It's impossible to say without seeing photos of the serial number. If you're skeptical, don't bid.
