It's a genuine Classic Shoulder Bag, probably late 1970s.

Once again...and I do thank all you who authentic the bags for us.

item: Bonnie Cashin Shoulder Bag

Comments: My old eyes see the creed as 932-2128

Thank you so much. But since I'm a newbie at this...is it an authentic Bonnie Cashin bag? Or just a regular Coach Classic Shoulder Bag?

Looks authentic. It's a Large Tribeca Hobo from 1998 :smile1:

If you mean "Was it designed by BC, or made while she was with Coach?"

1- I don't know, it's possible. But even if it was originally designed while she worked for Coach, it may not be one of her designs.
and
2- I doubt it, from what I've heard so far a Cashin-era bag wouldn't have a creed and serial number. Probably at least 90 percent of Coaches that are described as "Bonnie Cashin" have little or nothing to do with her aside from maybe one or two design details. Authentic Bonnie Cashin bags will usually have her unique lining inside, or a small tag with her name. The "Bonnie Cashin" description on most listings is inaccurate and often deceptive.

Hi again ladies, this is another front kisslock slim tote. Does the creed patch in this one - one of the last images given - seem odd. The number is stuck on as a separate piece of leather

Item name: Vintage Coack kisslock coin purse skinny tote handbag
Seller: billybblue
Item number: 140735769308
Link: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/140735769308?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649

Thanks very much

It's an authentic Skinny Tote. Coach used glued on serial numbers before they actually stamped the numbers under the creed - which probably dates the bag to the later 1970's. (My guess).

That strip does look a little "odd" and seems to be barely hanging on - though I've seen others that fell off over time.

The Skinny Tote is a Bonnie Cashin design, though Coach made a few changes to her original design after she left the company. (Longer straps, etc).

:smile1:
