This is my first time with an authentication request. I want to know what bag this is please!

Item: Coach bag, Made in New York City
Link: http://coachbagrehab.blogspot.com/2012/04/new-project.html
The link is to my own blog on rehabbing, and all the photos are mine. I am usually pretty good at figuring out most of my bags on my own, but as I start buying older bags, I am running out of information sources! Thank you so much in advance!!

If you mean the Court Bag, it looks ok.

It looks good. :smile1:

Thank you!

Yesterday, when I was at the store I asked an SA to let me see the bag (it was being held hostage behind the counter) and I pulled out my print-out of you list of fake numbers and info to check it against the bag.

The SA said to me "do you carry that with you all the time?" and I said "I try to!" She looked at me like I was from Mars so I said "I like vintage bags but I have bought some fakes and I don't like that!"

She didn't look impressed, but I was grateful for your expertise because I checked out a second bag while I was there and the number was on your list! Thanks again!

Oh, no, not the court bag, but thank you!!
I tried to link it directly to the one, it is titled New York bag, and it is a more British tan colored pouch style bag, the creed states Made in New York City...

Please post the measurements, and whether there are any slip pockets on the back or underneath the flap. No need to do it right now, I really need to get some sleep.

The 0532 Organizer Briefs from that era were one of the lines that used the "S".

I've seen S codes on a few bags from the mid-90s with US creeds but most of those seemed to have other authenticity problems. I'm pretty sure the Chinese S plant may have been making a few travel and business bags maybe as early as late 1995 -early 1996.

Handbags with S codes marked as US-made are still questionable, at least for me. Remember, many plant code histories are still speculation until we can confirm that a bag we're 100 percent sure is genuine has those year and country codes.

Thanks, NSP, I've seen a few of those, and one or two other styles too.

Interesting how, at least in the mid to late 90s, when Coach was testing a new plant in places like China or Thailand they'd restrict them to business and travel bags until they felt they were ready for handbag production.

Thank you!

Hi, I'd love to see that list. Is it on this forum? I did a search here for "fake serial" and nothing came up.

Can you tell me where it is? Thanks. :smile1:

The information I am referring to came from the links below. I copied and pasted the text into a Word document and it is 7 pages long; but that's okay because I printed it double-sided, and the numbers are all bolded so they are easy to scan.

Having this info with me has been helpful on several occassions, especially at stores that will not accept returns or exchanges.

Please authenticate this rehab candidate...

Purchased at Goodwill in 2007 for $9.99
Measures approx 7.5"w x 7"h x 3"d. Strap drop about 24"
Is it a real Watson from 1995?

Thanks!
