No, it's a Sheridan Roswell Satchel and the Sheridans are just "pebbled".

Coach has never actually used the term "caviar leather" since Chanel has pretty much made that term their own property but the only Coaches to have caviar-style leather were the Madisons.

Oh ok, that's what I thought but the phrase on the creed "specially treated to maintain a new appearance over time" was what made me think it was caviar. Still very nice. Thanks for authenticating.

I've seen S codes on a few bags from the mid-90s with US creeds but most of those seemed to have other authenticity problems. I'm pretty sure the Chinese S plant may have been making a few travel and business bags maybe as early as late 1995 -early 1996.

Handbags with S codes marked as US-made are still questionable, at least for me. Remember, many plant code histories are still speculation until we can confirm that a bag we're 100 percent sure is genuine has those year and country codes.

thanks for the info. that is very interesting. i have seen a few classic styles (like an old willis) where everything seemes okay but the letter "S" always throws me off and i get the feeling that it shouldn't be there.

I've always wondered if Coach made a JRT scarf but could never find that info. This is the first one I've ever seen, and - if it's legit - I am wondering if it truly was sold as a men's handkerchief or if the seller just sees it as such since they deal in men's items.

I don't recognize the scarf but that doesn't mean anything. There's nothing that screams fake on it (and fake Coach scarves do scream fake). When you receive it, please post pictures of both sides of the brown tag/label that is attached to it.
