They both seem ok but it's hard to be completely sure without readable photos of the creed stamps so we can be sure the name of the country of manufacture matches the plant code in the serial number. There don't seem to be any obvious red flags though.

Definitely fake. The Coach name is stamped on the turnlock AND is sideways, and have you EVER seen "Est 1941" stamped on the turnlock like that? The creed has some kind of black edging around it that's much too thick and the edges are uneven and sloppy, the hangtag is a bad fake, and what style is this supposed to be copying anyway? I've never seen that polka-dot lining either.

Thank you. It is a copy of a Peyton carryall #14522 from 2009, which had polka dot lining but now I am thinking that the dots were beige not pink.

There seems to be a plethora of these bags on eBay right now at very low prices. I grabbed one up before doing my homework and am doubting the authenticity. Perhaps Coach is slipping but the whole thing just looks and feels cheap to me & the creed tag is not very crisp & sharp. Your opinion please

Having the little metal tag DOESN'T prove that a keychain is genuine! If crooks can copy the charms, they can copy the little tags too. There's nothing, no individual tag or patch or number or zipper or piece of paper, that proves ANY Coach (or any other trademarked brand) is genuine. The proof is in the item itself, in construction details and lack of small mistakes.

Anything a maker can make, a faker can fake. Never forget that.


And if you see that seller listing any more keychains or "Coach" items, please post the listing links here so we can check them. Thanks!
