Seller has this one listed also and does state that it is "authentic". Can we report both?

I'm not sure the second bag is authentic or not but as I told the seller, selling one fake can ruin future sales. Can't trust someone that does that even if they try to sell a real one, it makes you doubt them.
Also have you noticed ppl selling "new w/o tags" then the description says "carried only a few times"?

Looks like both are gone now.

Please authenticate for me and then I'm done buying for a bit!

Item: Coach Vintage 70's Bag
Listing No: 251023815399

Comments: Last one, I swear :smile1:

It's genuine, and looks like a Shoulder Sac from around 1987, not the 70s as the seller thinks. The style number was 9730, and it's one of the unusual creeds in that an extra number was accidently stamped. That happened on quite a few genuine bags. The color may be Flannel Gray.

It looks as if both listings have been removed. If anyone keeps a Bad Sellers list, that might be a name to add to it.

Anyone who sells a bag as "New", with OR without tags, and then mentions it's been used a bit or there's obvious wear in the photos, doesn't deserve anyone's business.

Though I had it authenticated when I purchased it but I guess it never hurts to do it again! Thank you! Also how much do you think this would sell for?

Here it is :

It looks ok, but I'm not an expert on that style bag.

As for selling prices, you need to do some Searching and see what other style # 13143 bags have sold for.

I agree Hyacinth. I told one seller her bag was NOT new if she carried it twice as she stated. She apologized and said not to bid on it if I thought I'd be unhappy with the purchase. Sheesh! Another one also said her Coach bag was "New w\o Tags" but then said she carried the bag "only three times" to a wedding..?

Comments: I asked seller for a close up of the creed patch and this is the response I got;

"Thank you for your interest in this auction. This purse does come from a smoke and pet free home. I think what you are wanting to know is if this is an authentic coach bag and the answer is no its not. That is why i did not advertise it as such along with the low price. The creed is the same as an authentic coach, however it has different characteristics than an authentic coach. But, its still a beautiful purse..."

Yesterday I asked the seller to remove the listing if they re-list, specify this is not a real Coach. I waited all evening for them to act on that and when they didn't, I reported it to eBay. I see this morning the auction is still up. Does eBay require more than one complaint to remove an item? Also there are two bids on this but it appears they are both by the same person?
I didn't see the listing prior to its being removed but it doesn't matter whether the seller
admits that it's fake or not. A counterfeit item is ILLEGAL and can't be listed or sold anywhere at all.
Seller has this one listed also and does state that it is "authentic". Can we report both?

No listing should EVER be reported as fake unless you are absolutely certain that it is fake. If a listing has an authenticity disclaimer, you can report that violation.

If this is the bag that was described as "authentic," it seems to be okay.
