Fake. The pattern is improperly centered and is misaligned, the imprint is wrong and the serial number is invalid. And these are only the most obvious problems.

Style 1443 is one of the most highly faked and well-faked styles. Fortunately, for us, this isn't one of the "well-faked" versions.

Thanks BB, I value your opinion. I just did a search on eBay as it's usually a quick way to see several of a given style and at least compare details. =]

My new one is black

Why is the first part of the serial number different? I got them about 1.5 years apart.

Because the first part of the serial number includes the date codes. Please read Salearea's Ebay Guide about serial numbers.

If you're asking if one or the other is authentic, there's NO way to tell without photographs.

Sure i have a bonnie cashin bag from grandmother navy blue 3 compartment 2 have the kiss clasps and middle is open compartment. Inside linning is blue, red,yellow and green stripe satin, no coach patch on inside but very small coach metal tag. Am I correct on it being a bonnie cashin? use it sparringly but strap is getting worn does coach refab them.

It sounds like a Bonnie Cashin design, but if you can post photos we'll be able to tell you more. Nothing can be identified or authenticated without photos.
