Thanks! Anyone else have an opinion?

Hopefully someone who has one will take a look. Maybe it's the way the light hits it but the O-rings at the very bottom of the handle mountings look kind of thin compared to the few photos I've found. Looks like it may be missing one of the hangtags too. The creed seems to be ok though.

Item: Coach
Seller: 2012milagros78 (Newly-registered in ebay so there's only 2 feedbacks)

I don't believe that bag is genuine and would strongly advise you NOT to bid on it. The seller's other Coach is also fake and the other name-brand bags probably are too, maybe any Gucci and Burberry experts who might be here can take a look.

Just reading the creed stamp will explain why I think it's fake. And the patch is also cut and sewn very unevenly and the stamp isn't correctly centered either.

Hopefully enough posters will report it so it will be removed, and the seller along with the bags.

ITEM: Coach C0L-5114 RARE EXPRESS LINE 2000 BUSINESS TRAVEL WRISTLET CLUTCH
LISTING: 230754166105
SELLER: salearea (99.9% positive, mostly high-end accessories)

COMMENTS: I am desperate for this not to be a fake, since it would solve a whole bunch of my capacity issues with current wristlets, but it has a couple of red flags. 1) It states it was made in Thailand. 2) The plastic covering the hardware is something I have not seen until recently. 3) The factory stamp is on the wrong side (unless outlets in other countries stamp differently).

Thanks in advance from "teh n00b".

^In response to request above by alexiarnps . We actually discussed this bag prior to it being listed. Please note the information that was previously provided about this express line bag by Hyacinth below:

Coach did apparently have a pilot plant in Thailand in the early 2000s and made quite a few Business and Travel pieces there. I've only seen one obviously fake bag with a Thai creed but almost everything I've looked at with "L" or "R" plant codes from Thailand during that time period have been genuine, including this one.

I can't find a name for the style but it's from the "Express" line of bags and briefcases from the early 2000s, below is a co-ordinating Briefcase from the same line. The photo is from Coach's webpage from 2000.

Oh fantastic!

Looks like I didn't go far enough back in this thread to see the discussion and I was very confused since I've never seen a Thai creed in all of my years of "collecting". I'll be watching this like a hawk...

Sorry. I can't help because it appears the listing is gone/no longer viewable.

Ha! Don't fret. It was way back on February 28 that we discussed it and would not have shown up in a specific item number search :smile1:

It's definitely fake. And I question all the seller's items. (She attempts to stay under the radar with her "Giv3nchy" listing and her completed "yv@s s@int laurent" bags.

Please do not buy from 2012milagros78.

The Thai plant apparently was only open about 3 years, and concentrated on Business and Travel items so a lot of them never were noticed by the typical Coach buyer.

I don't see any problem with the wristlet either.

As for the outlet bullet, stamps can be anywhere on the creed. As with anything else Coach, there's no rule.

Could you please authenticate classic? Info would be great to if its authentic.

If possible, please post the regular Ebay item link in the future rather than the Mobile link, since a LOT of information is removed from the Mobile listings. Please also include the auction number in case, like this time, we need another way of locating the auction.

The seller mistakenly used the wrong style number in the title but the style and serial number in the body of the description is the correct one. The bag is genuine.
