Thank you for the additional information. Here is a photo of my bag. I did expect that store employees would be knowledgeable resources. I think I will send them my bag for refurbishing and see what they say. Thanks again.

Is there any way you can photograph the entire creed patch and the serial number?

ETA - Poster added another photo

As I told the other expert on Coach, when I was at the store they gave me leather and medal hangtags, a dust bag, and a leather shoulder strap, so they do believe my bag is genuine, even if they are not experts in vintage bags.

I'm going to wait for Noshoepolish and I'll defer to her opinion since she's a specialist in briefcases.

If it IS real, it's not only a year earlier than anything else I've seen from the S plant, but the nickel hardware on a bag with an October 1995 date code is also almost 2 years before the first catalog offering of nickel hardware with black (or any other color) briefcases which was the Early Fall 1997 Collections under the page titile - "A new developement - Black and Nickel". Pictures below.

So if I'm wrong, that means it's probably a Pilot or pre-production bag.

Well, that would be sort of cool, I think. I will await noshoepolish's feedback.

And it means Coach was already thinking about skeedaddling to China in 1995 or even earlier. Interesting.

This is my other Coach. Creed is A60-9978. Can't get the camera inside. One back pocket, one inside pocket, shoulder strap, great condition. :smile1:

Comments: Hi - I think I might want to bid on these. Do they look authentic? i'm concerned about E3J-636. I could not find it in a search. There is 2 hours left on the auction. Thanks.

The one on the right is fake. Be back in a few minutes with more info.

ETA - One is missing a creed photo. I'm not sure if the one with the fake shiny gold lining is the obvious fake one or a different one but obviously, DON'T bid.

Style 6047 belongs to a Sig Satchel and I think is on my List as "frequently used in fakes". None of those are Sig Satchels. 6363 is a Sig Buckled Hobo so that's the one in the middle. 7428 is the Camel Mercer Mini Hobo.

Wow - thanks so much for the info. I won't bid that's for sure. What should I do about reporting her. I never reported anyone before. I would hate for someone to win this auction. They've bid it up to $96 now.
