I am new to this site, I did not undrestand the format untill just now after reading some early posts. When BeenBurned mentioned the format, I though she meant my pictures were too big.

So here I learned how to follow the format:

Comments: I got my eBay order of this Coach Ashley Large Black Leather Satchel(15447). I was so disappointed that it is such a wired double faced one-- the leather on the front and the back is not of the same quality. The leather used for the back of this bag is kind of “pebbled” leather, while the leather on the front is smooth as it should be. The different is so obvious and will be noticed immediately. The pictures posted on the website did not show this problem well. There is also another problem that the end of the zipper was poorly made which does not look like a coach product. Could anybody help to authenticate it?

The bag is authentic. I think the differences in the leather is just one of the things you see when you buy leather products.

Remember, leather is a natural product and different hides from different cows or even from different sections of the same cow might have different textures.

It appears that the seller has/had several of the same style bag so she might have another to exchange it for.

It's a FAKE Station Bag. Note that the serial number that the seller lists in her description, No: 0444-315, is on Hyacinth's Fakes List.

I couldn't read the wording on that blurry creed either, but I did notice those perfectly straight lines over and under the numbers. That is another red flag. Plus the seller did put the serial number IN the description.

Several of her other listing use stolen stock photos. When a seller uses someone else's copyrighted work, whether another seller's or a website's, there's no way of knowing what you'll receive from that seller.

Thank you! I wrote that first seller off based on what you said...that's just scummy. I do have one more listing that I would like a second opinion on, since the couple of pictures that are listed aren't that great. Thanks again!

1- I'm not familiar with the really old styles but I've seen similar suede or nubuc styles before. There's nothing to make me think it's not real.

2- looks ok, probably the first year of production, 1987

3- looks ok
