Item: RARE **AUTHENTIC** COACH BLUE & WHITE LEATHER HOBO HANDBAG/PURSE/BAG

Listing number:120854486437

Seller: 111946
Link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/RARE-AUTHEN...437?pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item1c237d1da5
Comments: Seller is pitching a fit about law suits and "infrindgement" rights, using her pictures on this site, privacy, ad nauseum. She got 2 totally fake kate spades pulled, and I wondered if her Coach was real.

Seriously? That's the only picture she provides...If it wasn't spelled out in front of me I wouldn't have a clue what brand of bag is being sold. Plus only one picture and none even show that it's a Coach??? UGH I wouldn't buy from them just for those reasons LOL

I'm not an expert so I can't authenticate and will leave it up to the awesome ladies here.

It IS authentic, but why would anyone waste their time stealing her photos? Sheesh.

Maybe next time she lists a fake, someone could send seller " 111946 " a copy of the US Anti-Counterfeiting statutes and suggest she post THAT in her listings too.

LOL! That's what I was thinking why the big blurb when her pictures aren't great at all to begin with!

Please help me to Authenticate ~ thankyou!:smile1:

1. Item: Station Bag 5130
Link:http://vintagelovegirl.blogspot.com/2012/02/station-bag-5130.html
Comments: The Serial number is hard to read but says J5D-5130

2. Item: unknown ID and number.. Speedy Doctor?
Link:http://vintagelovegirl.blogspot.com/2012/02/speedy-doctor-bag.html
Comments:Measures
11.75" length
7.5" height
6" deep
Strap drop 22"

1- Genuine, but needs a LOT of TLC

2- Coach has never called any bags "Speedy" or "Doctor" AFAIK. It's a Madison Satchel from about 1987.

Can you tell if all the metal hardware is brass? Or do the metal grommets surrounding the holes made for the strap buckles look like more of a silver color?

If any posters have a Maggie Duffle for comparison, their opinions are welcome.

Style # 9019 belongs to a Maggie Duffle.

Maggie Duffles like Duffle Sacs are shaped a lot like buckets. So if the bag in the photos isn't a Maggie Duffle, then it's fake. If the dimensions of your style 9019 don't match the ones in Coach's catalog, then it's fake - although trying to measure that kind of bag can result in a big variance in dimensions.

BTW, here's Coach's photo of both the Maggie Duffle and the Duffle Sac.
The second and third photos were called Bucket bags, from the Lightweight line.

I'm sorry but no pictures came through could you please repost them.... I think they would help :)

Since your original post was probably at least 10 days ago if my memory is accurate, please post a link back to the original post. When you find it, click on the Post # in the upper right corner of the post which will bring it to the top of your page. The Copy the page URL and Paste it into your post.

No one else had problems seeing the photos. I'm not sure why they're not working for you. Post # 6599, if you're not using IE or Firefox or another standard browser that might be your problem.

Thankyou Hyacinth:) yes, the first bag is a gorgeous green but needs lots of love!
As for the second bag, I kept seeing "speedy" and "doctor" on EBay and thought it didn't sound like
a Coach name.. Sounds so silly! Do you have the model name
of the Madison Satchel? Thankyou so much Hyacinth!

The Madison is style 9765.

Most bags in that zip top satchel style are thought of as "doctor-style" bags at least by those of us who remember when doctors actually made house calls and brought their satchels with them. The name "Speedy" has been used by LV for a long time for several of their satchel styles and has almost become a generic name for that style but there's a good possibility that LV may have the style name trademarked.

The "infrindgement" (and that's their own spelling -- supposedly a lawyer!) claim is based on the posting of a picture of his/her fake Kate Spade bag on the ATKS subforum.

And the legal jargon at the bottom of the Coach listing? What's that all about? It must have been added after the KS fiasco.

LOL I wouldn't hire a lawyer that couldn't spell infringement

#1: Looks good.

#2: Looks good. (And the buyer, rmarinay, who negged for that wallet should be on every Coach seller's BBL. One does NOT neg for an item that "doesn't look genuine" unless and until one confirms that the conclusion is valid. There is NOTHING wrong with the wallet and the buyer is wrong.)

#3: Need to see the creed.

Thanks again! I asked and never got a picture of the creed from that plaid Poppy bag, but I suppose it's a moot point now since I didn't bid on it.

Also...since I was outbid on the first Alexandra wallet from my previous post and decided to buy that one versus the blue script one, I found another one of the same style. I compared the two and assume that this one is okay, but just wanted to verify since there's only one picture.

Comments: Looks fine to me, but just double checking.

It looks okay to me too.

ETA: The wallet in the picture looks okay. I'm not certain that the seller uses her own photos.

In this listing: http://www.ebay.com/itm/NWT-COACH-M...057?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item35b94bf6e9

She stole a picture (and rotated it to disguise the picture theft) from this seller: http://www.ebay.com/itm/NWT-Coach-M...070?pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item4ab38dc6ee

You might want to think twice about buying from a seller who doesn't show the actual item she's selling.
