The Madison is style 9765.

Most bags in that zip top satchel style are thought of as "doctor-style" bags at least by those of us who remember when doctors actually made house calls and brought their satchels with them. The name "Speedy" has been used by LV for a long time for several of their satchel styles and has almost become a generic name for that style but there's a good possibility that LV may have the style name trademarked.

Thank you Hyacinth for the style number and the background / history on where both "doctor style" and "speedy" come from. The Madison Satchel, whenever I've seen "doctor" associated with it on Ebay, reminds me of the Little House episodes where the docs carried their satchels with them on their house calls - certainly pre-Coach days!
Very interesting and again, thank you!:smile1:

You're welcome :smile1:

BTW, I just did a quick check of LV's trademarks and apparently "Speedy" isn't legally registered. But it still seems silly to use it to refer to a Coach product.

It looks okay to me too.

ETA: The wallet in the picture looks okay. I'm not certain that the seller uses her own photos.

In this listing: http://www.ebay.com/itm/NWT-COACH-M...057?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item35b94bf6e9

She stole a picture (and rotated it to disguise the picture theft) from this seller: http://www.ebay.com/itm/NWT-Coach-M...070?pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item4ab38dc6ee

You might want to think twice about buying from a seller who doesn't show the actual item she's selling.

Wow, I wouldn't even have noticed that since I didn't look at those other wallets. Thanks for the heads up, and I think I'll give that seller a skip. If she stole that other picture then who knows if the Alexandra wallet she sends will be the same one in the picture?
:shrugs:

EDIT: Have you had any experience with the seller on this one?

You're welcome.

I don't have experience with the seller of this wallet but it looks fine. And her pictures are her own.

Coach Signature Backpack 6080

http://s1088.photobucket.com/albums/i332/hmgallagher1/

The first red flag was the front exterior pocket's zipper is really hard to open/close as it's very sticky. I checked Coach.com and noticed that (still available) the stitching is black.

Thank you ladies.

Coach's April 2002 catalog shows the 6080 backpack in Black with exactly the same contrast white stitching on the flap, buckle tabs and drawstring as in your photos.
