It's genuine. If the second digit in the serial number is a "5" the bag was made in 1995.

It's impossible to authenticate any bag based solely on a serial number. We need to see pictures of the bag. The craigslist ad would be helpful. This isnt on ebay, but I was thinking of purchasing off craigslist so will see it in person as well. Please help out a newbie!! The serial number she gave me for this was F1149 -F10132 . Its a large tote. I cant seem to get my pics uploaded. How do I find out if the number is right?? Thanks

We need either the photos or the link to the Craigslist listing. Nothing can be authenticated just from a serial number.
Or you can upload your photos from where you saved them on your computer to a hosting service like Photobucket, and then just copy the Photobucket links for the photos into your post.

That said, style 10132 isn't supposed to be a large tote.
To upload pictures, I recommend using Photobucket. Upload your pictures to PB and post the IMG links.

If the serial number she gave you or that you typed is correct, then the bag is fake. The pictures don't match the style.Sorry, they're much too small. We need to be able to see the details and read the creed patch and serial number.

This is what 10132 should look like:

Unfortunately, there's no way to "look it up," but you can certainly search ebay for the style number. She gave it to me again, I was wrong-17132 is the model number, how do I look it up to see what it belongs to?? Thanks![]()
I believe I saw one like this recently IDd as a faux Patricia's Legacy, the number spelling out "Lie" seems to ring a bell... Fake?
