Unfortunately your photos are too small to see any details. Can you enlarge them to a bit under 195 KB and then re-post them using the "manage attachments" link? We need photos of both sides of the dog-leash clip on the end of the strap, and if you could stuff the bag with a towel or t-shirt or something to show the actual shape and take photos of all 4 sides, it would help. And can you give us some basic measurements of the bag, height, width and front-to-back?

Where did she buy the bag? If she bought it on Ebay, an auction number would be a big help.

Thanks for responding. I resized the pictures to be 190 kb each with photoshop, but somehow when i saved them they became around 30 kb. By the way, how do I get around the 5 picture limit? Post twice?

The bag has a width of about 8 and a half to 9 inches, depending on where I measure from, and a height of 7 inches. The front to back is 1 and a half inches when empty, and 2 and a half if I stuff it with a hand towel.

I have no idea where she bought the bag, but I'll ask her. I don't think she'd be awake yet.

I have to take my brother to a doctor's appointment now, so I can't take the pictures of the four sides just now. Thanks again for your help!

This is my find. I bought it. I received a message from eBay saying the listing has been removed and then went on to give me details to resolve a bad buy. It looked fine to me. These are my own pics.

Comments: Please authenticate. I bought this. If authentic it is a Duffle Sac - 1996. I have wanted one of these really badly. I thought it looked o.k. It has some problems. At the very top left of the flap/creed pocket the leather on the piping is different. It is shinier Does this explain why it has an outlet symbol? It also has some significant wear that is not in the listing...but, that is a separate issue. I am attaching pictures that I took.TIA

Phew!!! I was getting worried. I wonder what that sell did to get kicked off eBay.

Thanks again, BeenBurned

BTW I love you new avatar.
You're welcome. Sellers can be suspended for any number of reasons, including being late paying their ebay fees. There's no way of know exactly why she was suspended but the important thing is that you got your items and they're authentic.

Thanks for the avatar compliment. (I'm not as young as the first one and not as old as this one!)

Could someone please authenticate this? A friend of a friend bought this purse, and after carrying it a couple times decided it wasn't the right size. The price is fairly reasonable, but I just want to make sure it's the real deal. It looks authentic to be, but I thought I'd ask the experts! :smile1:

Thanks in advance, ladies!:flowers:

Here are the pics she sent me. Disregard the clutter; they are still in the unpacking stages of moving!

It appears to be fine. It's a Madison leather Marielle drawstring bag. Style is 17016.

Great, thanks a bunch! I've been wanting this bag in black ever since it popped up on the Coach site, but I'm not sure when or even if black will make it to the outlets. Guess I'll give this one a go. Thanks again! :smile1:

Here are some pictures.

Those are much better, thank you.

It looks like some sort of travel case which explains the different hardware. All of my experience is with purses so I'm hoping someone familiar with travel items can take a look. I don't see any obvious problems but more opinions would help.

Comments: I've never seen this style before (not that that means anything), and the seller doesn't include a closeup of the creed. Does it look promising enough to make it worth my while to request one? Thanks!

Getting a closeup of the creed may be almost impossible since it doesn't look as if the top opening is more than 4 or 5 inches wide - it's a very small bag, shorter than a standard DVD case. I would like to see at least a part of the creed stamp since the description says the creed is stamped on a patch, which is very possible since the bag probably doesn't have an inside back pocket.

That's not the original strap either - the 1992 catalogs that show the bag (called a Derby Bag) at the time it was released (not 1980 as the seller states) show only a single tubular strap, not a double, and the end clips are different. The catalog gives the strap length as 50 inches but the strap on the bag in the listing is a lot shorter. The seller lists the drop as 18 inches which means about a 35-inch strap, which may not be long enough to wear cross-body, so the strap has been changed. Other than that the bag looks genuine.
