How about this? Authentic?
Authentic Coach Signature Stripe Large Tote Handbag Purse Khaki Gold NWT 18798

Thanks in advance.

Without a clear photo of the creed patch and serial number there's no way to authenticate it. Those "collage" photos are worse than useless for determining authenticity and I don't recommend depending on them when you're thinking about buying any style that, like this one, might technically be a new number but that has been highly faked for years under different style numbers.
I don't recommend seller maishuren both because the listing in question doesn't have the proper pictures necessary for authentication but also because many of her listings don't seem to use her own work.

This listing for a highly and well-faked style shows just 3 pictures, one of which appears to be a stock photo, the collage pic taken from one of several Asian websites and just one picture that may be her own picture of the actual item, although none of her other listings have the same background.

In her other listings, pictures seems to be a combination of images from different sources. If any lisitngs use her own pictures, then ALL her listings should use her own work.

There's no way to know what you'll receive without seeing the actual bag and important details.

Hi, I got a picture of the creed as requested... But I can't see a number...

It's a "Basic Bag" (Zippered Clutch) - even though the seller must be "seeing" things - because I don't see any numbers on that glued on leather strip below the creed wording.

Many of those strips fell off over the years, so that doesn't make it any less authentic.

Wait for other opinions to be sure. The measurements are slightly off from Coach's measurements for that bag.

Yes, my other basic bag from the 1970s has a glued on serial number, so it must have fallen off of this one...

Can someone please authenticate this for me?

I asked for a clear picture of the creed, but she said she had already used her photo allotment. Should I move on? Thanks!
She's not being truthful about having "used her photo allotment." Sellers can add up to 12 pictures to the listing (at a cost) or they can use a free photo-hosting service such as photobucket and can add as many pictures as they need or want to add.

Sellers need to know that for highly faked brands, they need to show enough pictures so buyers can make educated purchases. And for the seller who has lots of pictures, it protects her too. Buyers can't accuse a seller of non-disclosure if there are pictures showing whatever needs to be shown.

Personally, I would advise finding a more accommodating seller who will give you the information you need. And I'd also tell the seller why she's losing a customer. (DIrect her here if necessary.)

It seems to be genuine. Coach's measurements and sellers' seldom agree. Everyone seems to measure bags differently. :weird:

Thanks so much. She emailed me (after I asked her to send me a picture the creed) and said that she was in the process of selling it to another buyer as BIN.

Thanks. The question is, do I want to buy a bag that lost its serial number?

Why not? I can't see how it reduces the usefulness of the bag.

If you're buying it for resale, I doubt if most real Coach collectors would care that it's missing.

Hmm.. It's not for resale... I love these bags... But it does feel like the bag is missing some of its history.
