She screwed up and you shouldn't be out your initial shipping payment ($7.55 according to the listing) nor the return shipping! Arrrrgh! This makes me angry. Yes, bring it up.

If potatobug31 doesn't refund you IN FULL, she has rightfully earned a well-deserved neg. (But don't do it until you get the refund and don't threaten it in order to get your full refund.)

Here's the listing: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...%2FxZZwv%2B%2BO4mImp5o%3D&viewitem=#cvip_desc

Thanks, BB. Do you think I should continue with the case via ebay since they cover price paid + shipping costs, or does that not apply here? I completely forgot that I paid $7.55 shipping that I'm losing plus the return. I would even be somewhat satisfied to get back the original shipping paid, but I'll be out about $12 in shipping charges :yucky:.

You shouldn't be out anything but if she won't refund full shipping both ways, then continue with the dispute. At least you'll get the $7.55 back.

And don't close the dispute until she receives the item and you get the refund. Once d.c. shows that she received it, post the d.c. number to the dispute and they should refund you.

(If the dispute isn't escalated, do so.)

Thanks again, BB. I will contact her via the dispute log and inquire about the shipping to see what the next course of action will be. This is not fun--I'm definitely going to try to avoid this situation in the future.

Hi,
Continuation from my last post ( Sorry, I tried to quote but it got all messed up) regarding the patricia's legacy, i 've a confession to make :( I actually bought the bag without looking at the serial number and now i am banging my head against the wall!! Here are some photos of the bag and since Hyacinth mentioned that P was never the code for coach bag, so obviously this bag must be fake..I will be returning the bag and ask for a refund. I've learnt my lesson well :(

Unfortunately I tried to paste the image here but it didn't come out so I'm posting a link to my album.. Thank you in advance.

Comparing it to one I own which was made in the US in June 1996, there are several other problems just with the creed besides the month code - it's too large (it should only be about 55mm across and 43mm high not including the serial number) and too far down the inside pocket, partly because the pocket zipper itself is too low. The creed font isn't quite right, and a bag made in 1996 should never say "Made in the United States" at the bottom of the creed, since by 1996 Coach had moved the name of the country of manufacture into the second sentence of the creed statement. And if you look carefully, the entire creed stamp is off-center.

I hope you get your money back with no problems. The seller is probably unaware of the creed problems or that the bag is counterfeit.

Thank you so much Hyacinth.. I was thinking the same too about the "Made in the United States" after reading your Coach Authenticity thread. I called the seller and I'm relieved that he agreed to refund me the full amount. He told me that he got the bag in Jordan and was unaware that it's a fake since the creed, to him looks so real. He has since taken down his listing.
By the way, the bag is rather saggy, and not as sturdy as the other classic bag that I have, the rambler's legacy.

I have started reading the " answer to authenticity questions " thread and also the ebay guides and I hope to be wiser the next time. This forum has taught me a lot and I am so grateful to all the experts here esp. Hyacinth, Beenburned who has patiently helped with answering all my questions eventhough you have work to attend to. What an education I've had :)

Thank you again. God Bless :)

Hi ladies I need your help! I am pretty sure the first is a fake but not 100%. It's on facebook but it's a yardsale page in my area. There is just the one pic but it just looks completely wrong. Wondering if anyone can authenticate both these with just the one pic.

The first one is fake.

The second one might be okay but more pictures are needed.

Comments:

I don't know if those were counterfeited or not and the photos aren't very good. It "looks" like an authentic one that I sold. They are quite heavy for their small size and they don't come up for sale very often.

There were 4 in the collection - Station Bag, Duffle Sac, Waverly Bag and the Daypack.

:smile1:

Thank you :) I don't think I will be buying anything "coach" from that person just because they can't tell the difference, and I know if I out them then they will just end up attacking me and it's a local page...sucks because the fake purse has been sold for $75 :(
