Please wait for another opinion on this bag because this was a very well-faked style along with another similar style, 1443. Both were very difficult to authenticate without knowing specific info about exterior color/lining color/stitching colors.

I do think this is authentic but do not bid until there's another opinion.

Okay, thank you BB, I didn't realize this one was highly faked (I probably should have searched the forum first). I know the photos were taken with an iphone and emailed to me directly from the phone.

I found this auction (same bag, style, different seller) with clearer photos. How does this look?

I think it's okay.

If you google "Coach 8k49," you'll see what I mean about being highly faked.

Okay, just did. eeek. Now I'm wondering if I should just forget this style all together. Thanks!

Yes, that's exactly how I feel now. I'm looking to purchase a tote for when I want to carry a few extra things (I mostly use hobos for everyday), but I'm not wedded to this particular bag, so the search continues.
If you really like style 8K49 and plan to get the black one with turquoise lining, here's a listing (already sold) for an authentic item from a trusted seller.

The seller shows TONS of pictures so you can compare the details to the listings you've found. (So far, I don't see any problems with the ones you've shown. I'd just feel more comfortable waiting for a second "thumbs up" opinion on them.)

Better yet, refer her here.
I will do that! I just didn't want to do something that wasn't within the rules of the forum:) I have actually directed people here when they have asked me where the forum is that I authenticate my bags:) Thank you so much for all you do! I saw the post earlier about you guys and all the work you do for us! I know I really value your expertise!

The one in the original listing looks ok to me too.

So there you go!! You have 2 listings that appear to match perfectly with a third known-authentic bag.

I sent the seller in your direction! How do you link all of the posts together so you can see the whole thread of conversation? I tried a few things and could only get the quote I was responding too:( Frustrated!

As a reminder to those requesting authenticity checks, please use the format requested in the first post of the thread.

When we authenticate, although we look at the pictures of the item you post, it's helpful and gives great insight into a seller when we can look at the actual listing from which the item was/will be purchased as well as other current, completed and listings from feedback.

The format also allows you to check on whether the listing you're asking about has already been authenticated, thereby saving time and repeat
authentications.

Please use the format requested here: http://forum.purseblog.com/coach-shopping/authenticate-this-coach-694619.html#post19464109
