Comments: the bag measures 11.5" length, 9" height, 2"deep. New York City Bag Prior to serial numbers. My concern is with the inside zip pull - though I've never seen one of the NYC bags that pre date the use of serial numbers. This is such a beautiful bag ~ I hope it's authentic!

It's completely genuine - never use a zipper of any kind to prove or question authenticity, especially on vintage bags. Read my Sig again.

The Suspender Bag (style # is 9490) is hard to date, my guess would be some time in the 1970s. I know it had been discontinued by 1981. Nice bag!

Yipee! I am so excited, this bag is so so very nice. I absolutely adore the very old Coaches with all of the character in their patina. .. I thought that the zipper probably was not an issue but thank you for reminding me. .. your signature always serves as a good reminder / reinforcement :)

Comments: I just got the Clay Gigi from ebay I posted about a few days ago and took a bunch of pics (some seem greenish due to the flash). Can you please give me your opinion on whether it is authentic? Should a Gigi have a made in China label inside? I know that many Coach bags are made there, but I don't know about the tag. Thank you SO much!

The serial number 0974-534 is a known fake and is on my List:

The spacing of the words on the creed is wrong and I'm sure I could find more mistakes if the rest of it could actually be read. The turnlock tab is wrong too.

It's trying to be a Beekman Brief and although the one in the photo below has a later style of turnlock, you can see that the entire leather turnlock tab is very different from the one you asked about.
