Could you please authenticate this Coach bag on ebay. I am not very familiar with coach bags and do have few concerns about this one. For example all bidders identity protected, I have read in ebay that it could be a sign of fake listing.

Item number: 170701029571
Seller: profitdata0179

Looks generally OK to me but I do have some concerns

I don't see any problems at all. It looks like a perfectly genuine Legacy Thompson Tophandle Satchel from 2007. What details are you concerned about? If you're basing your concerns on the almost universally incorrect "authenticity guides" that clutter up the internet, please don't. Read my Signature for a brief explanation.

Hi :)

First time poster!
Please help me with authenticating this!

The writing style on the creed looks fine, but the colours are all weird! :S although it ends rather soon, the price seems too good to be true. haha.

Seller: mttan1986

Thanks in advance!:)

How the colors look in a listing can depend a lot on things like lighting, camera settings, and even the sort of camera used. There doesn't seem to be anything unusual about the colors. My worry is the stamping of the creed patch, the lettering seems a bit thicker than I'm used to seeing but I'm comparing it to a bag that's a year newer. The rest of the creed details seem ok but please wait for other opinions.

The bag appears to be okay but unless I'm familar with a seller's reputation, I won't bid on private listings for items such as handbags or accessories. (THere are categories where privacy might be important and those items would be exceptions.)

Whether this seller does it or not, I don't know nor do I want to imply violations but private listings that start the bidding at very low opening prices are often used to hide shill bidding.

IMO, there's no valid reason for this listing to be private.

This bag was a highly faked and "well-faked" style so there's no way I'd recommend buying from a seller with so little history and so few pictures.

Another thing that bothers me about this listing is that one of the pictures shows damage to the bag. She uses the SAME picture to show damage to a different bag.

See picture #3 in this listing:
http://cgi.ebay.com.sg/COACH-SIGNAT...4?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_216&hash=item2c5f7d96aa

And compare to picture #3 in the listing you've asked about:
http://cgi.ebay.com.sg/Authentic-Co...1?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_216&hash=item2c5f7d8617

1) I do not know the name of the bag.
2) This is not an auction, so there is no link.
3) Please see the photos.

Is this an authentic Coach bag? Thanks
