So you are saying that this one is was made before the serial number was introduced? So is it vintage then?
No, that's not what she's saying.

There are many posts about serial numbers and creeds.
Here's one of them in (post #345) of the "answers to authenticity questions thread:" http://forum.purseblog.com/coach-sh...enticity-questions-94198-23.html#post11024432

Please read the post above but I'll add this:

Coach is inconsistent and Coach's inconsistency is the most consistent thing about them!

1. Some of Coach's smaller items (pouches, swingpacks, wristlets, cosmetic pouches and others) have creeds with serial numbers.
2. Some of Coach's smaller items (pouches, swingpacks, wristlets, cosmetic pouches and others) have creeds without serial numbers.
3. Some of Coach's smaller items (pouches, swingpacks, wristlets, cosmetic pouches and others) do not have creeds at all.

And to add a bit more confusion, you might even sometimes find instances where the same style number item will sometimes have creeds and other times not have creeds, depending on the factory and/or when made.

In and of itself, existence or lack of a serial number doesn't indicate authenticity one way or the other.

What did you find when you Searched this forum like I suggested?

The only thing I said was to Search the forum. The answers are there but you have to look for them.

A lot of posters don't realize this, but most of the regular posters here have answered the SAME question and others like it dozens if not HUNDREDS of times. The forums here all have Search features, and most of the first posts in the forums tell posters to please use the Search feature before asking your question, because the answers may already be here and because whether people realize it or not, it gets very frustrating and even annoying to have to keep repeating the same exact thing over and over and over.

When I post a link, that's when it's time for the person asking the question to do a little simple research rather than asking the regulars to lose another five or ten minutes of their lives that they'll never get back again by answereing the same questions they've already answered dozens of times.

We don't mind people asking questions, but only when the answers aren't already available. It's NOT fun having to repeat the same thing over and over. There's probably more good information (mixed in with a little nonsense) at these forums than anywhere else on the internet about designer accessories, and the posters here are wasting all that accumulated knowledge and experience unless they learn how to look for it.

And you don't have to try and remember everything - all you have to do is learn how to find it.
