#1. Rambler's Legacy from 1999.

#2. FAKE.

#3. Can't read the creed but the bag looks OK.

#4. Not a CLUE. Wait for people who know these bags.

#5. Not a CLUE. Wait for people who know these bags.

#6. Probably OK. Older Dinky Bag.

I just won and paid for #3, but I'm noticing that I can read the serial at the end and it says XXX-6250. I know the serial should be 9950. Am I in trouble with #3? TIA. Hopefully, it's okay :-/.

Contact the seller and ask for another photo of the creed from a slightly different angle to show the serial number more clearly. The first two numbers could be nines, it's easy to misread those stamped serial numbers if the light isn't hitting them at the right angle.

Okay, thanks for that advice. I just sent a message asking them to send the photo before mailing the bag. I'm so mad at myself for not verifying this first. I'm usually so careful :hrmm:.

From the "overstamping" lines above the first 2 numbers - the second number can't possibly be a 2, and the first 2 numbers are very possibly the same number. Just to ease your mind a bit until you get the photo.

Thanks so much Hyacinth . I guess I just was feeling a bit careless--since I got caught up in the moment. The seller has excellent feedback too, so that's a good sign as far as the possibility that he or she will be helpful regardless of the outcome. I will update as soon as I hear from the seller.

I checked the links in your original post since some of the ones in this post aren't working. Often because of the way long URLs are shortened by the forum software, the links won't work if you Copy & Paste them from the original post. It's better to post a link back to the original post.

The third one's a Manor Bag, the second one shows different serial numbers between the listing and the creed photo. The creed photo doesn't match the color of the bag in the listing either, please re-check.
