I asked for help on this on page 855 and you requested more pics. I finally have them. Do you happen to know year and style of this pouch? Pics:

Thanks so much!!!

All those satiny-fabric bags and accessories are from the Hamptons Weekend lines. Coach has made them since about 2005 so it's impossible to say what year it's from, it was probably just called a Hamptons Weekend Pouch.

That's great! I thought of it as "delicate" because of the pebbled leather and the "special treatment" on the creed. The corners are badly rubbed and it is going to need a good cleaning and some attention.

Do you know the style number and why doesn't it have a number on the creed since it is from 1993? Thank you very much!

Check my original post again, I added the number. The "special treatment" gave it a more durable finish but like the pebbled Sonomas, you don't want to rub them hard or treat them roughly or you'll damage the grain. Don't over-treat or over-condition them and test whatever you're going to use on a small part of the back or bottom of the bag first.

And I have NO idea why about a third of the Sheridans didn't have serial numbers, but they don't. The similar Dakota line that came right before them didn't have numbers either.

Great information, thank you! I was almost certain that it was authentic but the strange hardware and the missing serial number really confused me. Then I figured - for 9 bucks, what the heck?! I hope it cleans up well!

I have washed and conditioned Sonoma pebbled bags with no problem at all. I wash them exactly the same way as a regular leather.

As for conditioning, I apply Lexol to a rag or mitt and gently rub over the bag. I do this only once.

Hope this helps.

Comments: Authentic?

I don't see any problems but please wait for other opinions before bidding.

I see some Sophia bags that don't have buckle holes on the area where the buckles are. Are some just made with and some without those holes?

I have a Sheridan bag I found at the SA, it is cream color. I did apply some Apple to it when I first got it, it doesn't seem to have harmed it any. It did make it a little softer. I don't think I will condition it regularly as I do the rest of my leather bags, but the one-time application does not seemed to have hurt. HTH! Good luck, and nice finds! :D
